Done dyeing!

Well, I’m finished dyeing at least for a few days. I have a bunch of wool to work with for the pincushions and I need to take a break! I also listed several pincushions that I finally finished. They are really pretty. I’ve already sold one just hours after listing. I used to do that with my wool all the time. I’d list on Etsy and before I new it, it was all gone. When we moved from Yakima, geesh almost 4 years ago, I lost a lot of my customers because I didn’t list for about 6 months. Then, the economy took a down turn and I think people are buying wool blends now instead of 100% wool. I know I could probably find sources but I’m not sure my heart would be in it.

Here are a couple of pictures of the Brown Sheep wool ready to make pincushions.

More wool!

More and more roving!

Wool roving - Hand dyed in wonderful colors

Hand dyed wool roving ready to work.

I bought this clothes rack to hang the wool and for the show in March. It works better than I thought it would. Now I don’t have to stuff it into tubs right away. It’s fun to look at too.

These are the pincushions I listed on Etsy today.

OK, I can’t figure out how to delete the roving pictures that I put in above without starting over. I’m just too tired tonight to try. *sigh*
